This place Is awesome extremely clean and I love the fact that it is quiet enjoying it to the fullest, I ordered pizza it was a bit salty kindly reduce on salt especially pizza when it gets cold it becomes extremely. I loved the customer services , the waiters if you’re going through stress or rather you want that alone and quiet moments located right in town I think this place suits it’s all zee 🥰 hoping to visit sooner
Came here for a photo shoot for a clothing boutique. Didn’t order food so I can give a review about that. They place is wonderfully designed, I love the really high ceiling and the minimalistic overall design
A very weird experience indeed at the corner cafe. We got to the place for dinner n it was really difficult to find parking but we eventually managed to park the 3 vehicles we had. On our way in, we noticed a very cool motorcycle n commented on it. As soon as we entered the restaurant we noticed the driver who was sitting and had motorcycle gear on the table n we set on the table next to him.
As usual we started with ordering our starters, they told us that there were no menus in the restaurant and we had to scan a barcode in order to download the menu, this was new but we were ok with it because we were a group of tech savvy people. We ordered mainly soup, chicken livers and chicken wings for starters coz most of their dishes were not available. For main dishes people ordered T-bone steak with rice and chips; prawns, pizza, salads etc again because of the limited available options. The food took foooooorever to come. We were just good company otherwise we would have left the place. I only captured a few photos because was too hungry to take any after waiting for long. Look, the food was just sooo delicious but definitely not worth the long wait. During the wait time, we asked to see the manager n they said he had already left.
After having our delicious meal, they brought the bill and as usual I personally checked it to see if everything tallied and i noticed 2 items that i enquired about, the first item they explained that the prices on the menu we had downloaded were not up to date… imagine if such happens when you are eating on a tight budget according to menu prices. The second item was written “pizza addition: cheese which we did not understand because no-one had ordered extra cheese n the price for this ‘pizza addition’ was even almost double the price of the pizza itself. The cost of the pizza according to their menu was K110 which tallied with the pizza on the bill. Where did the pizza addition of K210 come from??? The waiter could not explain it and said unfortunately the manager was the only person who could make any changes to the bill but he had already left so he could not help us. Nway i was too tired to argue n i paid for the bill and guess what… as the waiter was going back he went to the guy with the motorcycle gear who had been sitting next to us the whole time n started telling him our story.
As we were leaving one of the guys we were with went to ask the waiter why he was sharing our issues with another client and it turns out… Motorcycle guy is the manager!! And he had been sitting there the whole time hearing everything going on and ignoring us whilst acting like a customer. He apologized to one of our guys for such behavior. As for me I was too tired to even care.
If you decide to go to this place, check your bill n be prepared to wait for a loong time.
I should also add that this was not my first time at this place and previously the service was actually great and thats why we went there with the whole clan only to get such a horrible experience! Forgive any grammatical errors coz m too tired to even check my long review 🥱
Well, things have changed from the last time I visited the place. The breakfast was really good and filling.
The only issue we had was that there was another customer smoking shisha in the enclosed area and not outside.
All in all, the food and customer service were great.
It's a little lovely place offering a variety of food choices and entertainment activities. The parking lot is spacious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The surroundings are well taken care of. The food is great. Their juice stock could be better (they have orange nor apple juices on this particular visit). The plastic trees are a nice touch but need to be dusted more often.
