Hotel is seriously understaffed. One person running kitchen/bar/waitering and is so overwhelmed, took him few minutes to respond to “Merry Christmas”. Our cocktails were awful - the pink jolly juice looking drink is “Sex on the beach”, the “Mojito” is watered down vodka with mint & zero sugar. Took us 40min to return them as there was no-one in the bar.
The hotel was a bit run down but in a convenient area. Most service request were ignored, and they charged me in USD at a terrible conversion rate - never even asked. The food was hit or miss, but the power was always on during load shedding. You could do better in Lusaka.
Radisson Blu Lusaka has proven beyond reasonable doubt to be a great place for a wonderful stay while in Lusaka. Check in was super fast, check out was even faster. The staff are extremely nice and friendly and very courteous. The rooms and entire environment is clean and continuously gets cleaned. Services offered in the rooms make your stay feel like home.
The restaurant offers great breakfast and other meals. The buffet gives all you will possibly want. The dinner goes with a wonderful live performance music.
The location is perfect for those that want to walk to the big mall close to the hotel. They showcase a nice swimming pool and a gym.
Overall assessment is EXCELLENT.
I enjoyed my staycation at Radisson Blu Hotel, Lusaka. Total bliss. The food was awesome 👌. The staff was excellent. I enjoyed the fresh watermelon juice, among other things. So refreshing.
