There's so much variety of dishes, its a buffet indeed. Great food, great environment, excellent customer service.
The place observes the set guidelines of social distancing, sanitising hands and surfaces regularly and masking up for all wait staff.
Today I went for the #village_chicken cooked the traditional way. It was yum
We received a warm welcome, and the lady was kind enough to show and explain the food options to us.
However, we were quite disappointed with the taste of the food. It lacked any spices or salt, which made it quite bland. The worst part of our experience was when the waiter started cleaning his teeth with toothpicks right in front of us, without showing any embarrassment Seriously, this made us question the hygiene standards in the kitchen. It was a disgusting sight that made us lose our appetite and decide to leave.
I enjoyed the meal. The tongue dish was amazing. Several food options to pick from. A massive array of vegetables. This is truly a hidden gem. Very good customer care, drinks were brought to the table and the owner came to say hello. It’s always nice to have a personal touch like that. Definitely returning. Outside seating option is particularly great during the pandemic.
It is a good place for traditional Zambian food.
Authentic!
The bar is ok.
You also have fantastic meeting rooms that can host a huge Zambian wedding as well as a board meeting of six.
However, whatever you are there for, try the food and get to meet the owners. Musonda and Pamela are amazing
