I wasn't even that hungry, but the first bite took me there!! Amazing food, and so far the best service I've had in Zambia. Meal was served in under 20mins. Parking is a bit cramped but it is very secure. In house DJ and well balanced sound system keeps the atmosphere spot on.
Had the opportunity to visit in different occasions, for lunch, brunch, dinner and the service is always great. The food is okay, I loved onoma sundae, it’s a dessert that would make me go there again just for desert.
It’s definitely a great spot to relax and enjoy good music.
Onoma does take you away from home experience...the ambience, music, decor all beautifully done. The service was amazing from the get go.. despite being busy our waiter didn't forget us. The food was okay (A bit too salty here, some not enough salt). Overall a beautiful experience. A must try.
Having had delivery twice and enjoying the food, we decided to visit in person. We ordered the Mezze for 2 and it was spectacular. Food was fresh, tasty and on time. The staff were also amazing from our arrival, in between and til we left. It adds to the great feel of a place when the staff seem like they actually love working at a place like this. Can’t wait to come back and try something else.
When you hear “Happy Hour” you think free drinks right? Or atleast “buy one, get one free”?! Well Onoma has its own kind of Happy Hour and that is, 10% of your bill or 3 course meal for K200 - from 12.00 to 14.30hrs every Tuesday to Friday. So me and my bestie decided to go try it out. (The 3 course meal, that is).
First of all, love the Mediterranean feel of the place. The color scheme is very soothing.
Secondly the staff is quite friendly and very efficient too.
Thirdly, the food was okay. The 3 course meal started with a salad and some crackers with very nice dips. The main meal was fries and chicken breasts with a sauce (I’m not sure of the type of sauce exactly) and for dessert, we had mini doughnuts with either a chocolate dip or honey dip. I’m not a fan of sweet things (cause the doughnuts were extremely sweet) but the dessert was my fav part.
I ordered some food for takeaway - lamb and rice and the meatballs with fries- and I must say I wasn’t impressed with the portion for the price of the meals. I don’t know if it’s cause it was takeaway or it just be like that 🤷🏾♀️
Overall experience was cute, I’d definitely go back to try the other things on the menu.
