The place doesn't not seem well maintain. The walls were not clean and the table clothes worn and stained. There were ants crawling all over the table and I asked them to get rid of them, the waitress simply squashed them with her hand! We just moved tables at that point.
The food wasn't bad and the portion sizes huge but I wouldnt recommend the pineapple sweet and sour pork that was bland and did not even a hint of pineapple. The shredded pork was good. We were given plastic plates to eat off so not a fine dining experience at all. Better to get the order as a take away then to dine in.
Waitress service is good.
We tried Chicken fried rice and Pork Dumpling, surprisingly nice, way better than JCS honestly.
Price is fair.
Next to the pub, a bit noise.
Ordered Kim chi using the yango app, and this is the rubbish that was delivered from the restaurant… just looked like regular cabbage In vinegar,,, nothing close to what was advertised….
For some time I'm having an urge for quality Chinese/Asian food. During driving I saw advertisement for this restaurant, so I decided to stop and pop in. The look of the ambiance of 'Fae easter' is typical Chinese, meaning plain and simple (basically not to inviting). While I was ordering food several people came and took takeaways while two person after reading the menu decided to leave, so I was only one to dinning-in. The service was suprisingly quick, but food was not what I was expecting, or maybe I just ordered wrong dishes for the first time (fish soup, fried dumplings, peper prawns, chicken wings). Didn't enjoy so much soup, dumplings and wings, while prawns was OK. Portions are quite big, but if I go back it will be probably to pick up takeway than to have lunch there. I need to taste more dishes, because pricing is very affordable.
