Spent 2 nights at this unique establishment during a business visit in the local area in early 2023. Cannot fault the hotel. In a very nice area. It did what it needed to do for the visit but what I did like was the very personalised and authentic feel it had, from reception, to its hallways, communal areas, as well as the rooms. My room was light, airy, and had some very nice African artwork, etc. The room was spacious and had a sofa and separate work desk wimhich came in handy. The bathroom had ample space, and the walk-in shower was a treat. Even had an African print gown/robe in the bathroom, which was a very nice touch. I felt at home.
The food was very good, and the portion sizes were quite adequate. Though I don't have a picture of the breakfast I had, it was so nice and filling. I had an omelette, and they make it right in front of you, and you choose what to go into your omelette. That was refreshing. The offerings for breakfast were very comprehensive and catered with what most people would prefer for their first meal of the day, be it savoury, sweet, or anything in-between.
The staff were very friendly and attentive, and no ask was too much for them. I asked for an iron and ironing board, and in a snap, it was delivered to my room, and there was no rush to return it.
It was storming when we were in Lusaka and one of the nights, I was woken by the lights going out, don't know why it woke me. It was a temporary power outage (around 2am) but within minutes, it came back on. Maybe they had generators that kicked or the grid came back on. Either way, it didn't cause me any distress or concern. Only happened once. Very quiet upstairs where the rooms are and wasn't disturbed at all.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who might consider staying in the area for business or pleasure. I'm not sure if it's kids friendly it is, but during our stay, there were families with kids, so I think it's ok. It has a pool as well, though we didn't use it. We had a very busy schedule.
Stayed here for a work trip and was blown away… it felt like walking into paradise. Great food, service, amenities. The room was so spacious and luxurious. Have recommended to everyone and would hands down stay again.
I had the pleasure to dine all day at Latitude 15°, and I must say their services are versatile. Their small food portions are incredibly delicious, and the hotel is famous for wedding photo shoots. Latitude has two restaurants that cater to different cuisines and they occasionally host live music events. The swimming pools are limited to residents.
