We had seen their stand at a food market in November last year and finally decided to pass by to get a better taste of their food.
I had two separate lunch days. The first time I went with my friend who equally loved her spicy jollof rice at the food market. The rice was a little different, not as spicy and the gravy just wasn't enough (I understand it's just rice mixed with soup but some of us prefer the gravy/rice ratio to be the same), it made the rice taste dry and our waiter agreed that it tasted a little dry. The chicken was just okay. I did love the Okro soup the second time I passed by alone for lunch. I wish it had more meat instead of three little pieces and skin, it tasted really good and I highly recommend it.
They had no palm wine both times, which was what I was looking forward to the most. The waiter recommend Bullet, it was honestly too strong for me and it only tasted better after I mixed it with cranberry juice. I enjoyed their sour cherry juice, though, not too sweet but flavourful.
The service was good. I know they are a little understaffed, I only saw 3 people both times, but they did a job with being helpful, and they were honest with their opinions concerning the food. They alternated and it was okay with me.
It's a cute place, I personally love the green and white decor, I was assuming it's for the Nigerian flag. It's clean and cozy too.
Hope to try more stuff out next time.
Was disappointed with the chicken. It wasn’t charcoal grilled. It was fried with gravy. The jollof was ok, not great. Hopefully the next time I visit they would have improved a little bit.
Ambiance was good and service too.
Fairly new, health and wellness restaurant at twin palm mall. They make simple snacks and juices/smoothies that are meant to be delicious and healthy.
They are usually open from 8am to 8pm. Their fruits are always fresh and neatly cut up. I personally enjoy the fact that even though they have a menu, they allow you to choose the fruits/vegetables you'd like in your smoothie/juice. I have no complaints on the drinks.
Equally no complaints on their snacks, I have ordered a beef wrap and a chicken mayo sandwich for takeout before which were enjoyable but I do order the juices more.
I like that they don't offer baked goods or sweet drinks(milkshakes), ice cream. It's strictly foods that are light and healthy.
