The apartment was spacious, but the fridge didn't work, the wifi password was never handed over, and the lady who booked us in was extremely unprofessional and treated us like friends instead of guests. Demanding money for doing laundry, then not even finishing the job. Sadly, the Owner was just the same. How sad.
Awesome stay
During my recent visit to Lusaka, Zambia, I stayed part of my holiday at the Hideaway Apartments. This place was so much better than expected, homely, clean and the staff could not have been any more helpful. The rooms are well-designed, spacious and offer own kitchenette for those that love to cook. Good quality bathroom and kitchen fittings and bedding.
The rates are very competitive, and the hosts are friendly, yet professional.
The apartments are located off the main road to the US Embassy. Easy to find and located near shopping malls.
While there are no on-facility catering services, you can order food from nearby restaurants which can be delivered to site.
Was an extremely relaxing experience. Really could not fault the overall experience. This will be my place whenever I visit Zambia.
Improvements:
- Should consider including a shaving station in the bathroom
- Consider on-site catering for those that wish to order meals

One of the best short-stay apartments in the area.
We had an amazing time. The team was Lovely and good at what they do. Glad to have been your guests. Definitely coming back. Great hospitality. Enjoyed our stay.
Stayed there with my 3yo daughter, our host was so accommodating and welcoming. It made travelling with a toddler so much easier and more pleasant! The place was always clean, the rooms are beautifully appointed and we managed to have a lovely few days in Lusaka. Will definitely be booking here for all my future stays
