My go to place for meals when in the area. They have a friendly DJ and their good food hits the spot every time.
Cant review the rooms as I haven’t lodged there. Have a pool I haven’t seen used yet. Perhaps it’s the timing ..
I'm so sorry to give this such a bad review, but it's true. First, I must say I love the Chita Lodge. In past years, I have done many events in Lusaka and would use the lodge as overflow for guest artists and tech crews. I went there yesterday after a 24-hour worst-case scenario travel experience from Geneva to Zurich.... bags lost to Johannesburg long layover at least I got to go shopping..... airline pays me less than $70 to buy emergency clothes and toiletries ... then I get to Zambia and have trouble with entry... I expected to go to Chita to relax and sleep...! I was met by a nice young lady who gave me room rates, I paid and we went to check which room. We tried 4 rooms and in every room to windows, doors or both don't lock at all..🤔. She tried to convince me it was OK, but I could not trust my equipment in an unlocked room.. No refund as there was some issue with their pay point I will see what happens today after I have rested and refreshed.
Chita lodge, you have to do better. It's 2023, upgrade your rooms, or just accept being a hideaway bar off the beaten path. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
I stopped by to have lunch and check out the rooms. I like the rooms, which had aircon fridge and covered front patio private to each room, so I plan to return and stay here in the near future. (I will update my review when I do). Meanwhile I had a nice lunch and enjoyed the peaceful outdoor setting.
