Not the best experience dining here. It was my first time trying Nigerian food and I was a bit disappointed. The restaurant atmosphere was not great, the service was nice and the waitress serving us knew the whole menu by heart which was impressive however, the food was not really my taste.
I visited this place with my fiancé upon arrival from the airport and were very hungry so we decided to google a Nigerian restaurant to eat.
Upon arrival at this restaurant we were given the menu to order so we ordered two Equsi soup with Gari and semi respectively plus pepper soup.
We also ordered two soft drinks and 2 bottled water.
I requested for the bill after our food which didn’t even taste nice compared to Naija chops and to our surprise we were charged for every meat in our soup albeit they never mention this to us.
I questioned the lady who served us and all she had to say was their Equsi and pepper soup comes with just goat meat and any other meat is an additional cost.
I’ve been to many Nigerian restaurant and never have I heard or seen anyone charging me additional cost for the meat in my assorted meat or pepper soup.
With such an experience, I wouldn’t advise anyone not to visit but I suggest you ask prices and conclude before your food is served to be sure how much you are paying at the end of your meal.
The money wasn’t the issue but the rational behind the bill is what I can’t fathom and that’s why I had to write this review.
