My dining experience at Dil Restaurant was absolutely amazing. The highlight of the day, of course, was the outstanding food. Dil Restaurant exceeded my expectations with their bold and authentic flavors that showcased the quality of their ingredients.
If you have the chance to visit Dil Restaurant, I highly recommend trying their butter chicken (forgotten the traditional name) The butter chicken, on the other hand, was a culinary masterpiece. The tender chicken, marinated in an exquisite blend of spices, was cooked to perfection, resulting in a succulent dish bursting with layers of deliciousness.
However, while the majority of my experience at Dil Restaurant was exceptional, there was one aspect that left me slightly underwhelmed—the masala tea. As a fan of Indian beverages, I had high expectations for their masala tea. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my hopes. The flavors were somewhat lacking, and I found it to be slightly weaker than what I had anticipated. While this was a minor disappointment in an otherwise outstanding meal, I believe it's important to provide an honest review.
Despite the slight letdown with the masala tea, I firmly believe that Dil Restaurant is now my go to place for indian food. Their commitment to culinary excellence is evident in every aspect of the dining experience.
I am already eagerly anticipating my next visit to Dil Restaurant. With so many more dishes to explore and savor, I know it will be another remarkable experience. If you find yourself in Lusaka and in search of exceptional Indian cuisine, don't hesitate to pay a visit to Dil Restaurant. You won't be disappointed, except perhaps by the masala tea.
The food is excellent. They serve an excellent chicken tikka and the side condiments served with is it "the true finger liking good". Happy to spend money and time at the dill restaurant.
Instead of tender mutton meat, we received disgusting rest parts and cartilages that were mixed in a curry and tasted like rotten meat!
It was divered via Afri Delivery. Del restaurant apologised and was obviously embarrassed when I talked with them on the phone. But they were even dishonest about getting back to us to set it right.
We paid a comparatively high price for a meat dish but received garbage like food.
I wouldn't recommend this even to an enemy! There are many great Indian restaurants in Lusaka, you don't have to let these people fool you.

4 months agoIt’s a 5 star because the food is always great. Wish they had better seating so we wouldn’t just have takeaway. Maybe one day!
