Great place. Short distance out of Lusaka. You won’t believe the serenity. It’s like you are at a holiday resort. Situated on a big property with a golf course and walking/cycling trail.
Zambia operates on just two hours of electricity daily, so I have to applaud Ciela for doing an incredible job keeping the resort running smoothly! One of my highlights was the availability of Stella Artois—my favorite beer. While I had a great stay overall, the food experience was especially terrible for me as a vegan. The options were almost nonexistent; with major improvements to the kitchen and restaurant service, this place could truly shine!
I had my wedding reception in Ciela Resort. It was a wonderful moment, and the hotel staff made sure that everything went smoothly. The hotel rooms are also nice, spacious, and clean. Breakfast is amazing, combining Zambian and European tastes. Overall, I would totally recommend the hotel to everyone who wants a relaxing time when visiting Lusaka.
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel—the rooms, restaurants, and atmosphere were all good. However, the hotel fell short in three key areas, which was frustrating:
1. Despite confirming, they didn't provide the requested wake-up call.
2. My order for a take-away breakfast the night before was confirmed but not delivered in the morning.
3. The airport service scheduled for 5:30 a.m. was late, with no driver or car available until 6:15 a.m., causing me to nearly miss my flight.
I would have rated the hotel 5 stars, but these three morning failures prevent me from doing so.
I had Coffee and milkshake both was good
Bones was found in chicken sandwich which should have checked
And the food sering time is too long we it took 45 mins for each order
