Stayed here for 10 days. It was the most peaceful and enjoyable stay that I have ever experienced. The woman that was in charge while I was there was the kindest, sweetest person I have ever met. She took care of me the entire time I was there. I wish I lived closer, I would visit there more frequently just for the pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. My clothes were collected every day and returned ironed and folded. I was provided everything I needed to fix my own breakfast. Suppers were amazing. I would love to stay there again in the future just for the experience of the hospitality and the kindness and the genuineness of the entire staff. It was an experience I shall never forget. Thank you so much Jenny for making my stay memorable.
I don’t really want to make this post because too many people will learn about how great Fleur de Lys is! This is a true home away from home, nestled in a wildlife reserve! I love staying here - great people, Marcia and Peter go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and it’s convenient to downtown Lusaka, local services and near a forest reserve!
Fleur de Lys was easy to find and located conveniently. I stayed in the main house. It felt like home. My laundry was done professionally every day by the staff on site. I was so grateful and impressed by this. Beautiful garden. The best and most magical garden I have seen in a home ever. Loved the dogs - I miss them so much, especially lil Rosie and Poppet. Loved the family dinners. It was like staying with family in a beautiful home. It was enchanting to wake up to birdsong and watch various buck walking about in the garden. There were mosquito nets in the bedrooms but mosquitoes were sneaky. An automated mosquito repellent did the trick. Overall, beautiful place to stay.
Always a winner! A treasure of a location and feels as if you're in your own private game park. Quiet and serene. Excellent service amd lots of personal touches.
