I have gone to the Urban Hotel to work from there and also to eat. I have not stayed there so cannot speak of the rooms.
In none rainy days, the outside terrace is my favourite working area. There are sockets all around but you’d have to check for ones that actually work.
They have a good bar service and buffet lunch is a ln option you’ll appreciate. The variety of dishes is good.
This hotel is one of my absolute favourites. It's got such a cozy ambient vibe and being in the lounge feels like being in your very own mansionette's lounge, with a subtle but inviting fireplace.
The food was absolutely amazing, succulent, fresh and delicious! Plus the portions were unbelievable, absolutely 10/10.
Being this good comes at a cost, it's very popular so wait time between the order and the food was quite long, but it was worth the wait, yes, the food was that good.
The staff were all very friendly and attentive and even at peak hour did their best to accommodate everyone. Definitely a place to add to your stops while in Lusaka.
I love the setup of the place very cosy, but the service all together needs to improve. also I did not like that they can't serve you finger bowls but ask you to wash your hands in the restrooms before and after eating your food.🚮 I have been there 4times now and told the same thing. the 1st time I thought it was a mistake but seems that's how it is.
Always enjoy staying here. I can’t remember the lady housekeepers name but she is very nice and cleans the room very well. More vegetarian options at breakfast would be good or a list of allergens to avoid confusion.
First day of the stay was not a great start with the food service in the restrant, one waiter who saved the day was Martin. Second day was good, the manager made sure my team was taken very good care of.
